Chautauqua-Wawasee Old Fashioned Christmas

The annual community favorite featuring live reindeer, live nativity, Santa, Christmas characters such as Frosty, the Grinch, Gingerbread Man, horse-drawn wagon ride, and a 50-foot tree light of 7000+ lights. The evening starts with music at 5:30 and the lighting of the tree at 6 pm. After the lighting the park opens to visit all the activities and fun including: listening to “The Night Before Christmas,” and grabbing a Christmas cookie and a cup of hot chocolate. Don’t miss the reading of the Biblical Christmas story read in historical Oakwood chapel. And don’t forget the Kids Games, photo booth, and more! This FREE family-friendly event is on the grounds of the Oakwood Resort.
